Help on fraud click detection

How long will google take to detect fraud clicks?

Hi,
I am getting decent clicks and my account is also updating everyday. My question is

1) Will google re-calculate my actual payout at the end of the month?
2) When will it find out fraudulent clicks, if any on my account? And when will i be notified?

Thanks

Do you suspect fraud? if so drop an email to Google, they'll deduct the commissions where they suspect it to be and at least look upon you differently than the actual fraudster.

If you are getting false clicks, be sure you will be found out.

1) Will google re-calculate my actual payout at the end of the month?

in some cases of major click fraud, there will be an adjustment at the end of the month that will show in the payment screen of your account

2) When will it find out fraudulent clicks, if any on my account? And when will I be notified?

If any fraudulent clicks are discovered they are removed from your account and you will NOT be notified.

"you will NOT be notified"

Unless they think you are behind the fraudulent clicks, then you might get a notification email that your account has been suspended, in which case, you won't get paid at all at the end of the month.

Thats correct spaceylacie but only if they think you are behind the fraudulent clicks, the first post was worded "if any on my account"

I was referring to if you get a small amount of clicks from the same IP number they will just be removed from your account you will not get paid any money for these clicks and you will not be notified of their removal.

Yes, that's true. The line in the subject, "How long will google take to detect fraud clicks", made me think he might know about some on his account.

I chose to be positive about it and give the poster the benefit of the doubt

spaceylacie,ncw164x and others.
Sorry for confusing you all.

My site visitors are rpeat users. If they use my website service, then the Host and Guests visit and re-vist my website anywhere between 5 to 10 days continuously.

So, there is a high probability of clicks on ads from same IP address. Also, my ads are now much more targetted to my audience.

Thats why, i was wondering if google thinks them to be fraudulent clicks.
So far my account is updated for every click.
Thanks

Your visitors, even repeat visitors, are allowed to click on your ads, these aren't considered fraudulent.

Now if it was just a hand full of people continually visiting and clicking, that might look suspicious. But having many repeat visitors is a good thing. Most of my visitors are direct entry, they have the site bookmarked and visit over and over. I haven't seen a single deduction for fraudulent clicks.

I believe that of all the things Google tracks, indexes and profiles, click-fraud has to have top priority with their highest scrutiny and most sophisticated tweaking.

This is Google's most valuable cash cow and click-fraud is the greatest threat to it.

Rest assured that they are very careful to distinguish real clicks from other instances that may just be coincidental (there has to be a coincidence profile) or are just spurious clicks from obsessive or deranged visitors.

But the stakes are high, so I too am paranoid when it comes to how my visitors click.
