What happened? May 5th that's what.
The roller coaster ride of checking previously accurate figures regularly now has me logging in a couple of times a day since no matter what my statistics look like, the end of the day's figures are completely and utterly different.
Overall earnings have been down a little however that is mainly due to our ISP having serious problems and us moving a whole load of sites to new servers but our EPC is actually up which bodes well.
Let's hope for a more settled ride.
Anyone else been cured of their addiction?

1. Admit that the figures just didn't make sense until the following day.

Why do you guys need to check so often. I earn good money from AS but even daily stats are meaningless.

You don't get stats sent to your cell phone or pager every 30 minutes?
Oh my...
This app would give me even more info than I have time to do with Excel - definitely useful.
Just one problem - it needs my AdSense username and password to work (obviously).
How can we check the application is only contacting Google - and not sending stats, passwords etc back to the developers?
I check my stats so often because I'm usually tweaking one thing or another. Today I'm watching the CTR of a certain channel, watching it go up as the day progresses. I get lots of info from watching stats closely, actually. Plus, it's addictive.
There's an idea, I think I'll make <snip> play a slot machine dispensing money sound when it pops up.

I can't play with the thing I'm not supposed to play with because it doesn't work with the Mac. I'll stick to drinking beer. If anybody knows of a similar thing I can play with that is compatible with MacOSX Panther and would like to send me a message, I'd greatly appreciate that.

Yay...that's another post moderated...
Installed an extension to my browser and there's my basic Adsense stats in the status bar (total impressions, clicks, CTR, eCPM and earning). Since my browser is basically open all the time, the stats are there for me to see at anytime.
I still log in once in a while to see the detailed stats.
OK. Maybe I'm still not fully cured. :(
