It is impossible to say what is normal or average. There are so many variants.

It has clearly caused you surprise or concern, so it must be high for you.

No doubt you will begin to read posts offering their average, so you could get a global average from them. In reality, unless they have identicle sites with identicle Adsense even that average won't help.

Your best bet is to ride the storm and watch your stats. Enjoy the highs because the lows come too.

Good luck!

It all depends on the site and types of ads. For some sites that would be a good number and for others it would be terrible. Use channels to zero in on which pages/topics on your site are doing above 20cents and consider adding more of that type of content so as to bring your average up.

You're in my territory for my bigger sites which can average from 8/9 cents click thru to 28/30 cents depending on the day of the week and if there's an "R" in the month.

If you're really unlucky you'll occasionally drop to 2/3 cents click which I have assumed to be the odd rogue ebay type of ad.

I have no firm evidence of this so don't anyone shoot me down however they only appear now and then and when they do the EPC does fall!

Don't forget that the ad placement positioning can also affect earnings with the further away from the top of the page earning less.

That is definitely confirmed through my channels with by bottom righthandside channel earning half of my header channel.

This depends on the site.

For a fan site, this would be a reason for a big celebration, for a high paying niche site, this would be reported here as absolut disaster in decreasing EPC.

So it's simple impossible to tell You.

When I add together all travel related channels, they make only 4% of my AdSense income.

CTR and CPM are below my average.

If AdSense would be allowed on sex pages, I would bet that the EPC would be so bad, that even a fan site would be seen as high paying.

Again hard to tell but I'd guess anywhere from $1 to $3. FWIW, my average is about $.15 to $.3 per click.

Well crud, I'm running at 4.5c/click. Guess I'm in the wrong niche.
