I dont think you'll find an easy answer to your question. There are alot of factors. You will just have to create your own stats over a little time and determine where you are and use that as a base for improvement.

good luck

Well the main point of my question is that am i getting enough visitors to be in the race of high earning adsense websites, for a moment let say i am doing most of the things right to get the better CTR,

i was just curious abt the number of hits i am getting

I can't speak out of experience, but I have heard many times that entertainment sites are a low paying niche. So I would say that even with your high number of visitors maybe the best you can aim for/expect is a medium earning adsense website.

I don't want to spoil your dream but I think the maximum you can earn is a few hundred dollars a month.

Generally adsense ads on entertainment sites have a low EPC and most entertainment site visitors aren't in 'shopping mode' so CTR might be low too.

You can only get a real comparison from a 'like-for-like' site.

A near identicle site that is either very well established and firmly rooted or brand spanking new. See where yours fit within that spectrum and you might get some sort of idea.

Having said that, you'll need to keep comparing stats over a period to get a proper picture.

What are you #really# looking for, news that yours aint doing too well and there's room for improvement, or news that you are on top of the game?

You are getting 30,000 unique visitors and only 2,800 page impressions on G. I think I'm missing something here.

But considering your niche and 2,800 page impressions on adsense I would think about $300 max. per month.

well i am hopefull to get around 125-150$ this month , and right now i haven't put ANY keywords in the meta tag apart from using the word entertainment, i guess by doing some research on the keywords i can definately improve my earnings

Secondly, i am getting 2,800 impressions per day because i haven't use the adsense code on all the pages, i have just put them on the frequest visited pages and only one banner per page, i am getitng 60-80 clicks per day on 2800 impressions

On my current 6 months stats I am getting 0.03 dollars per page view if that helps.

Just friggin' put adsense ads on your website, get the number to dance around and start testing. Testing is what separates men from boys in this business. You can't intellectualize your way through. A paycheck from Google is the only trusted source.

Broken record time again...

Use WORD*TRACKER and find out which keyword phrases in your niche are getting searched for the most. Add content built around those phrases, post the AS code, and sit back. If you're getting that much traffic already, it's just a matter of time before you see a nice jump from the content pages you've added. If you do this, I'll bet in 3 months you're back here bragging about it. :-)

With that amount of traffic you can expect approx. $200 / month

One of my sites is an entertainment/games site.

When I've tested Adsense on it the ads are spot on target and reasonable CTR - but they pay so little it doesn't even make a dollar a day, from double the traffic you have.

Same for a TV-related site. So I no longer run Adsense on entertainment sites.

We receive 2-4 million monthly page views with 100,000-120,000 UNIQUE visitors monthly across two semi-popular sites. We have been in with Google AS since August 2003. I just checked the stats for the entire time we have been in the program and our avg CTR is 1.9%

Maybe my niches are abnormal, but with 3.8k page views, per day, or about about 1200 uniques, I get around 3700 dollars monthly.

It depends on the quality and uniqueness + how targeted your traffic is.

The more i TARGET my pages the less visitors I get but the better the earnings and click through rate is.

I don't see how that will change the fact that you only have 1,000 visitors/day.

Spreading it site wide certainly won't hurt matters any, try it and let us know what happens :)

I agree with the revenue projections - 200-300 dollars per month.

Things may vary, also, depending on which country you are in. Ads are different and pricings are diff. too for visitors from different countries.
