Hi all,
I have recently created a new site based on a template I used for an established site. I created an index page from the new template and uploaded it to the server to see what it would look like. The Adsense ads that appeared though seemed to be targetted towards the old site. It turns out I had forgotten to alter the meta description for the site before uploading the index page. Now the site is fully in place and all other pages carrying Adsense ads are targetted ok, but the index page is still carrying ads for the old site. Is there anything I can do to get Adsense to sort of relearn what my index page is about.

Thanks in anticipation of any help

I have 2 sites in that state currently, googlebot and media partners have been back n forth for a few weeks now so I expect change in ads very soon (hopefully)

It just takes time

I've found that using the Adsense preview tool on a page can sometimes speed things up a little.

Thanks guys. Any idea roughly how long it takes to rectify itself?

Thanks for the tip on the preview tool, I'll give it a try

If you change the AdSense code that will force mediabot to revisit your page.
