I've violated the TOS

I've violated the TOS but Google left me alone.

Section 7 of the AdSense TOS states that:

You agree not to disclose Google Confidential Information without Google's prior written consent. "Google Confidential Information" includes without limitation: ... (b) click-through rates or other statistics relating to Site performance in the Program provided to You by Google;

I've violated this several times in this forum by disclosing my CTR and "other statistics relateing to Site performance in the Program." Out of fear, I've just removed my web site from my profile right now. G might not be wasting its time running after such type of violation of its TOS, but just in case they decide on cracking down on such violation, better be on the safe side. (It won't be so difficult for them to track down such violation with the powerful text fetching/analysis technology they have in their hands.)

Many of us here have also violated this part of the TOS, in most cases knowing that we have volated it. So now what? We don't take G's TOS seriously or what's your opinion on this matter?

Just a thought; maybe the mods could place a link in the AdSense FAQ [webmasterworld.com] pointing to Google's TOS, or prominently in the forum header alongside the FAQ. It's not that any of us need directions to the link, but may help to reinforce the idea that the Goggle TOS is to be taken seriously.

A while back I, and others used to point out these kinds of violations against the AdSense Terms and conditions.

Now, I'm just digesting all the data everybody feel they need to share.

I often look at some so-called declared stats as 'dreams' and others as 'half true'. They only tell us what they really want us to know.

The few that did tell the whole truth have little to worry about unless their username is also their url.

No need to worry, they can find you from your gmail account ;)

Perhaps when you clicked the TOS agreement, it activated the SatNav software.

Thanks CornWall, I completely forgot about that! :) Although I do not use my gmail account for AdSense, but I removed it from my profile right after reading your post, ... just in case :)
