I understand stats should be examined over the full 24 hour period but I have been noticing a weird trend over the past few days.
Firstly, a majority of my site audience is in the States and traffic picks up at around 5 pm GMT (So did earnings). Over the past few days I have noticed, whilst examining my stats during the day, that my earnings suddenly jump during the day at around 2 pm GMT and the eCPM jumps to over 9 times the final value it reaches by the end of the day and earnings reaching over 50% of what it reaches by the end of the day with impressions at only 5% of the days total.
Basically the earnings jump but by the end of the day things kind of even out. I have mentioned this in passing on the forums before and thought it may have been high paying clicks (this was on the first day this happened) but this has happened for a few days in a row now and I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing something similar?
If only this eCPM value would continue throughout the day.
Regards
CPC is currently also very high. Yesterday I decided to remove Adsense from my forum of my site as it wasn't converting well enough and I added a few pages of content. I don't know if this increase can be accounted for by these changes.
I don't think I'll ever figure out how google works.
My question is: can adding adsense to a site that has a lower CTR screw up your well-performing CTR on your other site?
It's a very scary proposition. If you have a site that performs well, do you want to risk damaging your epc by adding another site? Would be nice to get some confirmation on this.
