Hi all, I'm new to AdSense and am very impressed with the scores of people here who are earning strong revenue. I would like to ask a few questions please...

1. Which do you prefer, AdSense or affiliate programs and why?

2. What percentage of your income derives from AdSense and what percentage comes from affiliate programs?

3. What percentage comes from other revenue streams (please describe)?

4. Do your pages have both AdSense and affiliate programs or do you have seperate pages/sites for each?

Thanks in advance....

Affiliate programs - pay is more often and better terms can be negotiated

2. What percentage of your income derives from AdSense and what percentage comes from affiliate programs?

60% AdSense, 35% affiliate

3. What percentage comes from other revenue streams (please describe)?

5% comes from various products that I have to ship or get drop-shipped. Actually hoping to increase this because I have the most control over this type of revenue stream.

4. Do your pages have both AdSense and affiliate programs or do you have seperate pages/sites for each?

Most have both. Pages with high affiliate conversions and payouts do not have AdSense. I did several trials a few months ago and found that I made at least double the money overall by just having affiliate links.

There was a similar discussion recently in the Advertising Sales and Affiliates forum. You might want to check it out.

1. No preference.
2. Varies widely, but about 33% from AdSense and 66% from affiliate programs.
3. No thanks.
4. Both on the same page.
