I have 2 unrelated sites, A and B. Anyone have any suggestions as to stop site B showing ads relevant to site A instead of it's own. There is no mention or anything related to the site B, so why is google showing ads relevant to my it instead of reading the page on site A. This is only the home page as other pages show ads relevant fine.

Interesting.

If site A links to B then Google may be getting site B's content from site A the same way content of pages linked from helps determine a page's listing in the SERPs.

To stop this you can tell Google not to show ads from certain urls. You are probably doing this, but you also need to give site B's index page definite keywords.

Good point, site A links to site B but not the other way around, perhaps explaining why this is happening. Makes little sense though as the sites are on different hosts so that would mean any site which is linked too would show same ads ....

Any way you could be using a channel number from the other site by mistake?

I have channels set up but they are URL channels only, which I presume would have no effect on what adverts are being shown. Thanks for the reply.

Do the sites share an IP?
