so does any body know how much we actually make from these ads?

is it a set % ie advertiser pays $0.70 we take 50% = 35p?

Google won't say, but one way you could figure it out is to place an adwords ad that's designed to show up on your site, and a page all by itself, with no other ads on the page. That's so you know which one got clicked.

Then compare what you pay for clicks to what you earn.

I'm concerned that with google being a public company, when they're under pressure to meet quarterly revenue targets, they might just reduce our share so they increase our take. They could do this with no notice, no explanation, and no violation of our agreement with them, and if they were subtle about it, no one would really be able to tell. But in the end we'd all get screwed.

I'd be much happier if Google named a specific percentage. Even if they had to revise it as conditions changed, as long as they told us.

i agree with you on your views and ideas. I am finding that it tends to be about 35% that i am earning.

Do you do well with google your self?
