Google AdSense PIN never received

Another scheme?

I haven't received my Google AdSense pin on new account and it has been more than 2 weeks as well... I suspect this pin-game is some kind of scheme where delay with payment brings some kind of profit. I hope they are actually gonna pay us.

Also, I just went and searched a lot on "google pin not received" etc. and got many posts where people did not receive their pins. I think that is dishonesty from google.

I used to like Google, but what is happening with my PIN (why is it needed anyway and why does this PIN has to be sent by mail?) makes me shift away from Google and not trust it anymore.

Why Google decided to send PINs by mail? Your address verification? Or opportunity to blame USPS for not delivering mail (which never gets lost by the way!)
and then making profit from our ads while not paying us!

Neonrider:

If I were you I would take a deep breath and relax.

If your PIN has not arrived after two weeks just request another one.

Your conspiracy theories are not realistic in light of all the other members here who deal with Ad Sense.

You need to put away the aluminum hat and return to the real world.

I never received a PIN, nor notice that I should get one. Is this only for new AdSense sign-ups?

This is a system that was started just a couple of months ago to verify the address of the publisher.

It only applies to new sign-ups.

The wait time for a pin was around 3 weeks after the day you generated your first $50, no need to worry yet.

neonrider, you had to accuse Google of dishonesty in 3 different threads over this trivial matter? Personally I would never work with a partner I didn't trust, so if I were you I would refuse to support Google and use a different sponsor.

Why Google decided to send PINs by mail?

... ehem, don't banks and other financial institutions including credit card companies send the PIN by mail?

It took 4 weeks here in South America but it eventually showed up.

Yes, Google is a conspiracy of massive proportions. They are trying to destroy millions of innocent people. Do not publish their ads under any circumstances.

(Especially because it will help the rest of us level-headed folks.)

I requested my second PIN over two weeks ago 'cause I never got the first. Today the "request a new pin button" has been re-activated. But I'll let it go for a wee while yet. I'm in Australia.

I closed my adsense account and opened a new one (based on Google's advice) but did not recieve the PIN that was apparently sent through the mail.

I have seen on various threads and heard from a few other people that the PIN is not recieved and they have to request it after the waiting period which delays payment.

How many other people have experienced not getting a PIN and having to request it manually?

This is a serious consideration when moving AdSense accounts - my personal delay meant no income (cheque recieved) for almost 3 months... not good for people who rely on the income stream.
