Have been reading the posts over the last couple of weeks.....have drank many beers in reflection and sheepishly suggest the following connect the threads scenario...

1) numerous fraudulent clicks emails arising this week

2) low click rates this week

3) multiple PSA ads this week.

Now just supposing that you wanted to check for "adsense abusers". Wouldn't one method be to randomingly turn down a site for a period of time, track the revenue decline against the projected (expected) and flag the obvious misbehaving sites.

Oh how the mind wanders when he moon is full. Perhaps Google is using this method to determine problem sites?

Did some more looking at the posts this week, and compared to previous timeframes fradulent posts appeared. Interesting comparisons...anyone else?
