As many of you, I use adsense on my niche site, with decent revenues and CTR.
I feel I could vastly improve my revenue with a PPC bid program specifically for my site.
I would love right column on my site with a “Advertise here – bid” link that would lead to a google adsense page where advertisers could choose to bid, just as they do with adwords, but specifically on my site.
I, as a publisher, could approve or reject ads, to insure they are properly targeted.
I know that adwords now allows to bid on a specific site, but I would much prefer a tighter integration with publishers site.
This would require new ad format, so on the vertical right colum for example, it would display more than 4-5 ads, but a long chain of bidders like you can see on google own page when you choose to display more than 10 results.
Of course, publisher could keep traditional ad, but have a new option for a “Custom bid” ads.
Publishers could select the maximum number of bids to be displayed, so when the number is reached, new advertisers would be told to come back later or get notified when a new bid space is available.
Any thought?

Since google now allows adworders to place ads on a specific site.... does some of you thought about putting an "advertise here" link on their site which would explain that they can place their add here trough adsense?
Also, is there a bidding competition between people wanting to place adword on a specific site? What if there are more advertisers than room on the site? Or on the contrary what if there are less than room? In this case, will adsense mix site targeted adwords with regular ones?

This is exactly what I was looking for:
- CPC bidder can bid on your site. Only the highest bidder will be displayed, always. Lowest bidder will be displayer trough the network if they are kicked out of my site by other highest bidder.
It would be great if adsense could setup such a program.
I won't remove adense from my site since i'm doing fairly well, and I won't add this to my site since it would be a clear adsense TOS violation.
