This is a low traffic new re-done site. There are three adsense blocks ( leaderboard top header, and 2 medium rectangles ).
The leaderboard shows text ads as ever. both medium rectangles now shows image ads of ONE PARTICULAR COMPANY ONLY on all pages, all sections, no matter how the content or descrition may be different. Its strange that both image rectangles belong to the SAME company everywhere on the site.
My Questions are:
1)Do image ads, in general, pay more than text ads? I have no expereince with image ads before.
2) Because both image ads and one of the text ads belong to the same advertiser, do you think it will effect me anywhere in clicks or earnings?
3) I know that we can block the ads of one particular advertiser, but i am not aware of any way where we can say that we dont want that particualar advertiser to take up all or most of the ad blocks. Any suggestions please.?
The CTR seems about the same, but my traffic is far to low to draw any meaningful conclusions from.
In most other (but not all) sections of my website I disallow image ads, because I think they look kind of tacky.

The ones that I've seen have on my site have been attractive, and all have been on topic--until today, when a Canadian tourism ad for Labrador and Newfoundland was several thousand miles off topic. :-)
As for how they pay compared to text ads, your guess is as good as mine. AdWords advertisers must have some idea, though (at least the AdWords advertisers who use image ads).
