Hi i was wondering if google hates to login to system again and again to check stats or adsense and adwords?

Sometimes I log out and then 5 seconds later I realise that I forgot to check something and log in again..

There is something about that, that make you want to check it every minute.

Good question and something I'm paranoid about. I should imagine they couldnt care less how many times you logged in, but I know exactly what you mean.

I log into my account about 10 times a day and think to myself "are they watching me, do they know I keep logging in, do they think I'm up to no good"

Its an addiction, maybe Google should compensate us for our addictive behavior :)

Logging more and more per day from your single computer, say at every 10 minute interval, may prove to G that you are sitting and working at your own computer the whole day and NOT going to another computer or cybercafe for clicking on your own ads.

That menas, if any click is coming to another computer, G can assume it is not you who have made the click. (Of course it can not detect this way, if you send your friend to a cybercafe, it should use other techniques to detect your friend.)

So you are on the safe side even your EPC is lowered 0.1%

There is no punishment for logging into a system more and more; I'm almost certain. You don't bite the hand that feeds- just remember that you are a publisher; you're doing Google a favour. Sure, there's hundreds more where you came from and some with bigger sites, but you are helping them provide their service to advertisers at the end of the day.

As for compulsive behaviour... well... having a sneaky peek every hour isn't too bad, more than that and you have to be doing some serious analysis, because back-of-napkin "thoughts" cannot be realised in such a short space of time. Little and large changes do take a while to take effect and the results of which may only be really noticeable after a week or two of consistent results. Oh, did I forget to mention that Adsense is inconsistent at the best of times?

Finally, think how many hours are lost in productivity to people going outside for cigarette breaks- and that IS bad for your health!

With their immense computer power and thousands of machines online and huge bandwidth, I fail to understand why G would even care how often some of us login, especially since we are an insiginificant percentage of their overall network traffic?
