I didn't touch the code provided by Google, but the title tag of the Ad Links by Google ad unit on all of my pages has been changed to 'Ads by Google' since yesterday, nevertheless the links are still there. Anyone else noticed the change?

We have never had our ads tagged as "Ad Links by Google." Our still read "Ads by Goooooogle."

Sorry, I mean the title tag of the 'Ad Links' unit has been changed from 'Ad Links by Google' to 'Ads by Google'. The tag on the Ad units are still read 'Ads by Goooooogle'.

They've been changed by Google. Don't forget that the code you put on your site is just calling the actual ad from Google's servers - they can change it to whatever they want.

On Spanish pages, all the Adlinks ads used to say "Mas Anuncios" (more advertising), now they all say "Anuncios Google" (Advertising by Google).

I have a feeling that, except for a few exceptions, the Ad Links idea has not flown as high as they expected.

It looks like they are tweaking it to get more public awareness.

The problem that we encountered was that the Ad Links took away from our regular AdSense program and drove revenues down.

While I have read from others here that they work for them it may be that for many it's not.

My 2¢.

Today is the one month anniversary of Ad Links. I am guessing the new branding from "Ad Links by Google" to "Ads by Google" was carefully timed to coincide with the anniversary ;)

The're doing quite well here, especially on a site where normal AdSense is rather miserable.

For us AdSense worked really well, tanked when we added Ad Links, and returned to normal when we deleted them.

So, as I said, it all depends on the market and website.
