Are there different % depending on subject?

Can you earn more by focussing on certain areas?

Does a click earn x% no matter what the product is or does it vary depending on the value of the product.

If so and I wanted to focus on the highest paying area how do I find out what that area is?

Some topics earn more than others but my advice to you is focus on what you know best or else you'll fail with thte adsense program.

Do you know which topics earn more than others or where I can find that information?

i wud cite my own example here.

i have a site with an average epc of 5 t0 10 cents. i am an expert in that niche and can write orignal content on it daily. ( even in sleep )

i did research for high paying areas and decided about 3 areas. started sites about them

the epc from these new sites was 50cents to 1 dollar, and about 2 dollar once in a while. I was happy.

Three months down the lane, the earning of my orignal site is rock solid because i know the topic. i tried to scrape for other topics and write, tried to buy content but the earnings could never touch even even 20% of my low epc site.

i agree that knowing a topic and working on its site is better than going for high paying areas or keywords . (unless you are a advertising corporate aiming to be a premium member of adsense)

Thanks for that.

Can anyone point towards information that show which adsense areas pay the highest down to the least?

I've seen popular keywords but I would have thought there would be a listing of sorts somewhere.
