Google no longer paying for banner impressions or what?

I thought they used to. I just recently launched a website, have all of the ads set up and I havent really made anything. Have recieved an "average" of 600 Banner impressions a day, and FEW clicks(which you can assume how much thats made.

Should I stick with it, or is there a betetr service to use?

"No longer" implies that Google paid for impressions, previously, which the Adsense has never done.

They only pay for valid clicks.

Lol Google has never paid for impressions.

The only thing that counts are clicks.

In addition to what everyone else has said, banner ads tend to get rock-bottom numbers of clicks because viewers are ad-blind to them. Try different ad sizes in different locations.
