Today, by searching on "<snip>" I found a site with resources listing, which presents their results in individual boxes.
The first 3-4 boxes are individual one-ad google ads.
They are properly labeled as "Google Sponsored Ads", but they are totally faking be a result, a little but much deceiving, IMHO.
I don't bother about this at all, but I rather want to know if this is legal, I could do so in one of my sites.. :)

This wouldn't by any chance be a travel-related site, would it? If so, then I've seen this site you speak of. It was a damn good placement. I even TRIED looking for the ads and it took me like 3-4 times before I could find them, but they were right in front of my eyes. Amazing.

It was a tutorial site, the one that appears almost by any tech-keyword + tutorial ;)

skunker, what are you talking about in this sentence?

"I even TRIED looking for the ads and it took me like 3-4 times before I could find them, but they were right in front of my eyes. Amazing."

Are you refering to sites using fake google ads?

I think that site might have several years, it has like 1,000 of genuine unique backlinks.
It must be doing a living, easy, and even more with that ads placement and it is just about listing resources.

BTW, does anybody has a complain about their framing?
I've read many webmasters don't like being framed like that.

Depends on the site thats framing. If you didn't check the "framed page" checkbox your ads targeting will change based on the content in the framing page and in a lot of cases the keywords are much more targeted and can give good earnings. I'm guessing that adsense might concider your page as a part of the site doing the framing or it just happens to go off the frame title's keywords.

On the flipside, if the site has adsense in their frame to you then your ads might be cut off from adsense counting the framed ads along with yours so your ad may display less often.

To be on the safe side you would probably want to check the "framed page" option.

Well, this guy don't have adsense in their frame.

I was just refering to adsense when I mentioned about framing, but to a common complain in the "copyright" forum about this technique.
