I've never made that much money with it either, but around the 31st my impressions went up by quite a bit and my ctr about doubled. That's encouraged me to want to work on the site more, but then I think, why bother? When I could get kicked out without any explanation or recourse.
I know suzyvirtual got back in, but it sounds like they wouldn't have even really checked into it if they hadn't read her email.
And while I don't rely on just Adsense, I still worry, and it makes it hard to stay motivated.
So, I'm curious - how much do other people worry about it? Do I seem like I'm worrying about it more than other people? Or more than I should? What if anything do you do to help reduce your concerns?
LOL... I just check my email for a message from Google before I try to log in and check my stats! :)
I try to fly well with-in the TOS and Policies so I think I'm pretty safe. But as we saw with SV, stuff happens. You can't live in fear of that, it's just not worth the worry.
Anyone who carefully read the TOS and policies when they joined Adsense has got to know that we are almost completely, if not completely, at Google's mercy in these matters.
Play by their rules and you should be pretty safe.
But I would NOT apply for a loan based on my income from Google. It's way too uncertain to count on.
Enjoy what it is for as long as it lasts, and be ready to move on when it's over.

I dont have much income from Adsense but it does help me when the funds are low.
I live between TOS and mail G of i want to know something is in TOS or not.
The only fear I have is compititor click fraud
Is it worth it? Yes, I think so.
There is a risk in everything. If you are operating well within the AdSense guidelines, that risk is reduced. I wouldn't let it stop you from trying a new initiative.
It is fair to say that SV is unusual here in the "I got kicked out" threads. She actually *WAS* booted clearly without good reason, and they did let her back in on appeal.
Although I try to give people the benefit of doubt, most of the threads here on the topic were booted quite fairly. One webmaster recently started a thread about being booted for "no reason", and one of the senior's here found his site, and he was asking people to click on the Google ads at least 10 times to support the site! He felt this wasn't reason for G to boot him, and was most aggrieved that they had. This is typical, and you can't assume that what people post here is the entire truth.
The "I've been booted" threads do tend to heighten tension round here - try not to take them too seriously, or let them worry you. Clearly G can and do let people back in on appeal, and provided you stick to the TOS you should be ok. If you aren't sure, just drop G an email and they usually respond. At least that way they know you are keen to stick to the rules.

I also had my CTR & CPC increase greatly last week, but it has since dropped to normal ... have yet to receive a letter from Google.
'Spikes' do happen.

Also don't forget Overture will come out with it's own program like Adsense, they are already testing it.
As for getting kicked out...well, if you play fair, the risk is very very low, plus this is reduced by the fact that people who play fair tend to get re-admitted on appeal. Google are also pre-emptive sometimes, asking sites to remove ads or change something on a site.
But if you play unfair, you run a high risk. The number of regulars here that get kicked out is very low. But as well noted, many of the 'I've been kicked' threads are from first-time posters and many who claim to be innocent, are in fact guilty of blatant cheating.
It seems I do worry about it more than others do! I guess I will try to worry less, but that tends to be difficult for me.
I'll have to make sure I keep the 'What to do when you're kicked out of Adsense' thread bookmarked just in case though!

I wish they would do this more often rather than just kicking people out, that would definitely help me from worrying about it as much.
