I noticed this morning that reporting seemed to be realtime - now confirmed by Google email.

I can confirm the opposite.

Our stats today were really slow this morning and only caught up this afternoon.

I think when they say "real time" they mean that for the stats they have reported you can see the channel information.

I could be wrong about this but it's the feeling I get.
