It seems they are not hurt

I read somewhere in this forum that a user had the site down for quite a period and when the site was back the revenues had dropped significantly.

It has been a painful experience for me to have my site down for 4-5 days before being able to get it live again and so I was quite curious (read: scared) to what would happen to my adsense revenues.

Well, I am glad to say that on the first day the site was back I saw the highest revenues I ever had, so I presume all that did not hurt too much.

On the other hand, today (2nd day since back) I am having very poor revenues, but I assume it's the usual fluctuations so I will pretend not to worry.

(I know everybody will think that I must have been an idiot not to be able to restore it sooner, but it is an .it domain, and the transfer of an .it domain to another mantainer requires a fax sent to nic.it. Of cource the server went down on friday afternoon, so nobody was there to process my fax! Then, on monday they were probably busy having cappuccinos etc. and the DNS began changing only on tuesday)

For me, recently my site has been getting around 500,000 impressions a day. Things were finally looking up (it had been stable for about 2 weeks). And then the worst happened; my server crashed while I was away (for 3 days) and now I'm at 150,000 impressions a day, and CPM halved as well. All in all, I'm only making 20% off adsense per day of what I was only 2 weeks ago. And the 20% has been steady for over a week.. d'oh!

Time to build up visitors again ...
