Yesterday i added Adsense code to my new Website, It focus on web publishing.
Today i checked the stats, and i was shocked, CTR was 2% , 86 clicks 71.31 $ . I made an average of 83 Cents per click. Is there something wrong?
Should i contact Google.

Wow, I wish I got 83 cents per click. The first few days and weeks are not indicative of your daily earnings until your viewers have become used to seeing them. Anything new or out of the ordinary on your website is causes your regular visitors to click in curiosity.

That's exactly what happens whenever I add something new on my site.

My website don't have regular visitors, because i currently have a very few topics in my website.
I added adsense to my other food website a month ago, the ctr is about 1.5% the average cpc is very low than this one, its 6 Cents CPC.
Advertisers must have high bids for keyword webpublishing.

I would be very interested to know how you get along over the next few weeks/months. I suspect that Smart Pricing will (as it does to most people) kick in and that your EPC will settle a little, but at this stage, who knows?

Best of luck!

I had a similar experience when I started with adsense.

Be Warned smart pricing will come in about 2 - 3 weeks and your epc will drop like a lead ballon.

My first week i averaged30 clicks per day and an epc of .80 that was back in January.

Yesterday I had 6,000 clicks and an epc of .07
Today I have had 1,500 clicks so far and epc is .04

My dreams have been shattered. If I was only getting that .80 per click now. I would be in the ups club after two days.

Anyway thats just my .07 cents.

Shouldn't you be in the UPS club? 420X30=12,600

My dreams have been shattered.

LOL. Do you by any chance have clicks confused with impressions. Maybe you are misstating your $420/day revenue?

No I have not made a mistake.
My point was what could have been.

6,000 clicks x $0.80 = $4,800 per day

I just yesterday (less than 24hrs ago) struck an advertising deal with a major site in my niche .

I have seen my traffic go from 2,000 hits per day to 30,000 hence the increase in clicks. Before yesterday I was averageing 200 clicks a day or $12.

So I am not in the ups club yet but will be if this keeps up. :)

My whole what could have been was it would take me just 2 1/2 days to get to $10,000. instaed of the whole month.

Yeah, enjoy it while it lasts.

Sometimes I could earn up to $4.50 per click and I never got less than $0.50 per click.

Now, I'm down to about $0.20 per click. I've totally removed Adsense from my website now and am hoping to see more revenue from my affiliate ads. Time will tell.

in the good old days before smart pricing $3,4,5 and sometimes even $15 clicks were a regular occurrence on one of my sites. Nowadays those same clicks are about $.75

That sure is an amazing increase in clicks and traffic JoeBob. I still don't see why making $420/day would shatter your dreams? That kind of passive income would be in the wildest good dreams of most others, instead you want to earn $4,200/day or $1,500,000.00 yr!

Even with *only* $420/day adsense income you would be in the top tier of publishers here as I am guessing 95% earn less.

How did you achieve such quick success? Just wondering.

That $420 was for one day yesterday. I know it will not last. I aheived this by paying a rather large forum site to place an ad to my site on theirs. After one of their users look at my site they will either buy my product or click on a G ad. They probally won't ever come back.

I will see that $420 dwindle down as the bulk of their users visit my site. As of today it is only $200 AND MY EPC HAS DROPPED ANOTHER $0.02 TO 5 CENTS.

I am not complaining I was just dreaming of what could have been.

I even tried getting a new domain writing a new page and then redirecting my old domain to the new one to see if the new domain ads would pay more. I was thinking perhaps G put my domain on a low payout list. But alas I think it is done on a publisher id number basis rather than a domain.

Anyone elsee tried this before?
