Hi All
As you can see, I am a newbie and yes I also new to adsense. How ever I do have a question and even after reading the marathon topic about how much we earn last night I would like some help.

One of my 3 websites is about home laons etc. it has a ctr of aroung 9% with a cpm of $50 plus. But Im only getting around 70 impressions a day.

I am fantasising about what I would earn if my impressions were in the 1000+ per day.

Can you help me get my traffic up? Or at least give me some tips on what i could be looking at. My site is pretty much optimised as thats what i do for my bucks.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Steve

The best advice you can get is to create quality content on a continual basis, develop quality incoming links to your site from authoritative, on theme pages that will drive quality traffic to your site.

Avoid schemes and shortcuts if you care about the domain, so that you have a long-term moneymaker that will gradually increase in value and income.

Thankyou patrickdeese,
I have added a couple of scripts in hotscripts and they have been picked up by a few webmasters ad on one of my sites I have this great tool for working out how many pages have been indexed by google and how many have been crawled.

with external links to these I beleive that the links will come.

Thans again from Aus

That means your getting about five cents per impression. If you average 3 pageviews per visit you are averaging about 15 cents per visitor. Join Adwords, Overture, etc and pay less than that per click for related keywords.

Just try and make sure your home loans site is getting home loans traffic. If you start funneling other traffic to it, well that may work in the short term but you're going to end up as one of those people complaining that their EPC has dropped 90% since they joined.

Yep sink them adsense bucks straight into adwords for your keywords. Then you will attract
1 People who click adsense
2 People interested in your keywords.

It's win win

Thanks for the advice guys. I need to clarify something here. My site is and australian one and my market is quite small, so my site is optimised for the Australian market, thus the small impression rate, I guess?

So you recon I need to plough the bucks into adwords, buying the adwords for a lot less than Im getting in return?

It's worth a look anyway. You may find out that more traffic means lower CPC and the net result may be unfavorable. It's so easy to sign up for you may as well test it.
