Google Sysense

Is this safe to use? What are your experiences?

[I've used the search function on this forum, but it returned no threads on 'Sysense'... apologies if this has already been discussed]

I noticed today people refering to a free program called Google Sysense that allows people to monitor your Google Adsense stats in realtime from your Windows taskbar

I like the sound of this program but naturally I am cautious about doing or installing anything that may be against Adsense TOS, and ultimately lead to being kicked off the program.

So firstly - is Google okay with people running this program?

Secondly, is it worth downloading?

I have enviously looked on at the scripts that people have been posting up on this very forum, but as I have very little programming experience I don't understand how to run 'cron jobs' or make such scripts work on my system. This Google Sysense seems ideal ...

Your thoughts and opinions would be very much appreciated

I have been using sysense for over a month now and because im an adsense junky I have found it fantastic. It loaded and has run in my systme tray faultlessly.

When ever a click has been made in my adsese account it pops up and sez "you just earnt some bucks".

My recomendation is go for it.

I think I may have spelt it wrongly -- "SysSense" rather than SySense? regardless, I still do not get any results using the site search tool

My worries are: am I giving away my Adsense username and password to a 3rd-party here, and also is this company collecting my Adsense data?

Gah. Someone copied it! (I wrote a Java one a year ago, then lost interest and stopped maintaining it, so it doesn't work with the currrent version. Might just bring it back from the dead!)

considering googls new 'feature' sort of breaks syssense you might oughta fix up yours. id give it a shot.

more or less unrelated, im in a java class at school with a fairly lousy teacher. (she just doesnt teach too often)
what are the chances i could have your source and start playing with it?

i promise if i come up with anything decent ill post it here.

I've been using it for a couple of months with no problems.

I expect that so long as you dont set the refresh interval too short Google wont mind.
