jump in bandwidth usage with Adsense?

after i put up adsense ads on my site, i notice my site's bandwidth usage jumped by 50%. has anybody noticed something similar?

considering the total code is comprised of less than 200 characters, and the actual ad file is served from google, i'd say the jump in your bandwidth is related to something else.

I have a lot of subpages on my site, and the AdSense bot hits it like crazy. I'd say it alone is around 25% of my bandwidth.
