$0.00 clicks?

Does this happen?

Is it normal to get nothing from clicks?
I hope it's not because google thinks I'm clicking my own ads, because I haven't.
I just checked my stats, and it shows one click (yes, only one...my site doesn't get much traffic), but it shows $0.00 as the earnings.

invalid clicks are seen as $0.00

that's strange. I wonder how google determines that one click, from god knows where, is an invalid click.

I could see if it was tons of clicks from one ip address, or even just one click from my IP address.

But just one random click?

Are you getting no clicks for your whole site or individual pages? On a given day I might have 0 clicks on an individual page, especially if it's on a narrow topic page then the next I may have 3. On a isolated page it can vary a lot.

I have had 0.00$ clicks in the past too. especially the first few weeks after I started with adsense. maybe you can email google and ask them to explain.

Once... when I was editing pages, previewing, testing navigation, clicking, ... I clicked on my own Adsense ad by accident. I was logged into Adsense at the time, same browser session, etc.

A few days later, when the channel data was reported for that day... that adsense channel for the ad that I clicked had only one click reported that day... for zero cents.

Yes, an invalid click, and I was glad that Google's system simply flagged it for what it was.

I'm not sure if PSA's count as clicks in the stats or not. If they do, you might be seeing PSA clicks.

I see what you mean, not getting paid for a click. I didn't get the question.

Google catches invalid clicks now and then. They don't tell us how. It doesn't especailly mean you did the invalid clicking.

I had a series of clicks a few weeks back that I suspect kids might have done. I get some traffic from classroom assignments. I wrote to Google and they had already caught it and taken care of it.
