how to change the adsense ads to show different text

i have a site that sells widgets and put adsense on a page on my site that talks about painting widgets. The adsense shows ads from companies that sell widgets, i would like it to show ads from companies that paint widgets. I added more relevent text on painting widgets on that page and was wondering if google has to crawl that page again before it will change the adsense ads to display ads on painting widgets?

Yes, you will need to wait for google to crawl the page.

However, is "PAINTING WIDGETS" in your title? H1?

IME, when you change something on your page, it may take the Adsense system a couple of days - or even longer - to adapt.

Also, I assume Google takes CTR into account, so targeting may change over time.

Just optimize your content (but don't overdo it) and give it a couple of weeks.

I guess i will wait for google to crawls the page again before putting the adsense back in.
