Am I the only one not impressed with Adlink earnings?

I'm not impressed with the earnings from Adlinks. It typically runs at about a couple of dollars a day on a site that earns several hundred dollars per day via normal ads.

I've tried it in different positions, in the top left colour coded to blend with existing nav links, tried it at the bottom of the page where users wanting more info are likely to click, I've tried it in the right column. All the locations/colours have different channel settings for tracking purposes. CTR and effective CPM are a small fraction of what I get on normal Adsense ads and even lower than the Google search box.

Any other of the larger sites (over 1K clicks total per day) seeing this?

Yes, same here. I replaced them with regular ad blocks.

Perhaps I'll try again on specific pages where regular ad blocks don't perform for one reason or the other.

Do you mean they actually earn? Mine has been a big fat 0 earnings.

I agree with you both. Tried it for a week and cpm & cpc dropped likea rock, converted back to regular adblocks and yesterday saw a difference.

Here's the flip side, my Ad Links are performing incredibly well.

One small site has seen a threefold increase in earnings and across all sites the increase, especially this week as people get used to seeing and using it, has been very significant.

Niche sites seem to be doing well from it.
