Was just a client. I explained him AdSense. We went on one of my web sites and I explined the concept of contextual ads.

Look, this is a page with the photo of a statue, and so Google brings ads about artists.

My client was very surprised about one of the ads, we had been just siting in front of a 2m big drawing of exactly the artist which appeared in the ad.

On a site which mentioned the US election, I got ads for George W Bush and whats-her-name (his wife) finger puppets. *shudders*

Erm, on a site about setting up Linux on a particular laptop, got an ad for sunflower seeds (my article mentioned kernels...)

The ads I get on my search for songs by lyrics site never cease to amaze me...

I have had some good ones. My site is broken down into categories, and for a time I was including "cat_[category]" in the URL -- I started getting all kinds of strange ads related to cats! (The site has nothing to do with animals whatsoever.)

I learned a thing or two about the importance of the URL in Google's algorithm, though ....
