is this allowed?

"Sponsored Links are contextually relevant advertisements that "#*$!" provides to you. We receive Sponsored Links from Google's AdWords service, and generate revenue from your clicks. The selection of Sponsored Links that are displayed are customize to what we think may interest you.Sponsored Links are always clearly labeled.
Generating additional revenue from Sponsored Links allows us to offer new features to you. Thanks for your support!

also on the ads frame you see "sponsored links" instead of the standard "ads by goooooogle"?

Found on one of the biggest and famous website!

Are you sure those are Adsense ads? If so, maybe they are premium publishers.

Yes they are google ads, and probably like you said they are premium publishers...

But actually I did'nt know they were other rules for premium publishers.

Thanks for your answers

Just for the sake of fact checking:
By what indicator are you certain they are Google ads?

Because they write it...

"We receive Sponsored Links from Google's AdWords service"

Probably a premium publisher based on what you say, so the Ads by Gooooooogle would not show.

Labeling the Ads as Sponsored Links is fine, it is how Google wants the Ads labeled (if it all).

What doesn't seem to be acceptable, as far as I can see, is mentioning that the Sponsored Links help offer new features and then saying thank you for your support.

This is the equivalent of encouraging people to click on the ads which is against the TOS.

Yes, this is definitely from a Premium publisher, and it is within their terms to do so.

Jenstar - It is within their right to display the ads the way they do, no question there, but if they are saying "Thank you for your support" this is the same as suggesting that people should click on the ads.

I haven't seen the site, so I can't say for sure if the language used is wrong, but it sure sounds like it is based on what he is saying.

CalArch90, I think Jenstar's point is that a Premium publisher may have completely different TOS. It very well may be OK for them to essentially tell people "click on the ads". Of course, Google isn't stupid -- I wonder how that affects their CPC...

I'm not a premium publisher, so I don't know what their terms are, but I highly doubt that Google would allow even premium publishers to encourage people to click on ads by saying "please support us".

Again, all we have as information is what the poster has indicated - I would have to see the verbage in full context to come to a conclusion, but it sounds pretty iffy to me.
