for the first time in some months many publishers are stating having CTR % increases
G may have improved targetting in response to the Y announcment this week to enter contextual advertising
including a URL with register for interest

Has G's first responce been to improve targetting and therefore increase publishers income

Is this just the first shots in the coming battle to hold on to publishers

Improving CTR....etc.

That's a bit of a concern. Some search advertizers are commenting on getting clicks from content sites when they have opted out of content display.

Which leads me to wonder if when G gets that fixed, will they deduct the clicks, and cash, from the publishers accounts?

Remember many of us got upward adjustments for missed clicks in February and January. So it's possible we could get downward adjustments too.

This place will be hopping if that happens.

personally, I don't think Google would dare take back money that has already been paid. I think they will eat the cost especially since most people said it was not much of an increase anyway. For some, they didn't even notice added clicks.

For me though, I haven't seen an increase in CTR. And my EPC is still going down. Though, it is going down more slowly than before.

Many of us here are having a substantial increase in CTR this week...very strange.

I am still wondering what the reason is...
