Negative EPC

Maybe some clicks deducted

Just checked my stats and noticed less than before. Some clicks more, but less earnings.

Could it be, that some valuable clicks from the day had been deducted as invalid.

Something like

some clicks with high EPC deducted
some more clicks with low EPC added

giving the impression of a negative EPC

I noticed also before strange downs
Some hours good CTR, good EPC
suddenly 2 hours with terrible CTR and EPC,
but this is the first time with a negative EPC

what do you mean by negative EPC? A negative EPC would indicate to me that YOU are paying google when people are clicking ads on your site... From what I understand of EPC, it cannot go below zero.

if you mean clicks were credited and then taken back, would that not still average back out to zero?
