Registering with AdSense

Just now I tried to register an account with AdSense at www.google.com/adsense/

A prompt: "Already have a Google AdWords account?"

When I enter my AdWords information (notice - this is adsense page), I get an error message: "This account is already setup", but I got rejected when I applied the first time.

When I try to login into AdSense account, I get an error message: "Account Not Active"

I have had this. You need to use a different email address to open an adsense account if you already have an Adwords account

My Adwords and Adsense e-mail addresses are the same.

Perhaps an e-mail or call to Google is needed.

I experienced this as well. I applied 3 times before I was accepted (this past Monday in fact!) and had to use a different e-mail each time.

After the fact, I looked for a way to change my e-mail so I could dump this new account I had just created. Looks like it can't be done though. So, I guess Google Adsense has it's own dedicated e-mail address with me.
