I was wondering that with the rise in popularity of adblocking software, (such as in the Firefox browser) has there, or could there be a substantial decline in AdSense returns?

Would it be safe to speculate that folks who would go through the trouble to download, install and configure adblocking software, would likely never have clicked on ads in the first place?

AFAIK most adblocking software doesn't block Adsense. I think one of the only programs that does is Norton Internet Security.

I don't think so. I think a large part of those would still click on the ads if they saw something relevant to what they were searching on your webpage.

I tried using the adblocking in the IE wrapper, "Maxthon", and it blocks Google adsense for sure. Firefox does the same as well.
