I know that many people try directing traffic to their AdSense site through AdWords, and AdWords has a conversion tracking option to track how your ads are converting. I was wondering if anyone has tried using this conversion option from google to track how many clicks you get from people coming through AdWords.
I am already using a adsense tracking script to track clicks but dont have anyway to know who came through adsense. Has anyone solved this problem? I have some ideas, but before I begin I was wondering if anyone has done this yet and could share.
The problem is that the conversion tracking from google AdWords is javascript based, so you would have to display the javascript each time an ad is clicked. I am thinking of perhaps using a hidden frame, and when an ad is clicked, load the conversion javascript in that frame.
Any other ideas? Anyone doing this already?
