Targeted ads on my notebook

Confusing experience, the page is only on my harddisk

Just developing new pages. All my pages are on addresses like

d:\internet\my-domain-name.com\folder\file.htm

This pages are exactly the same, which I will put on my web server.

Just created a new page, clicked the page to open,
several seconds happened in the area where the AdSense ads should appear nothing, suddenly the big surprise, targeted ads for a page only existing on the harddisk of my own notebook.

I am behind a router, shure no web server is runing on my notebook.

Yeah I get that occasionally. Really trips me out when that happens. I was able to actually mess with the targeting a bit.

There was a thread on it a while back but I can not find it now. Some bright guy figures it was sniffing with JavaScript. Maybe.

I checked it now also with the preview tool.

I think it's based on words in the URL.

Do you have the Google Toolbar installed?

I guess its because of your filenames, just change the filenames or the folder names, and see the ads getting changed!
