AdSense PIN

Well, my son applied for AdSense on a site of his about 10 days or so ago(yes that shows how old I am). He was accepted and everything is fine except today he cannot view his reports unless you enter an assigned PIN. The PIN was snail mailed on March 3rd so I guess that what the PIN's are for (new accounts).

My mistake though, you can view the reports although it isn't obvious with the screen you are shown.

I would think that it is probably an address verification method. If you never get the PIN, they aren't going to send the check to that address.

Yeah my girlfriend got a PIN number too.

Maybe it's given when someone new signs up with the same address as another adsense member?
