Three days ago I got 500% the clicks I normaly get, while earnings were cut in half, and CTR was in the low 1.X% (Oh, how I wish that was a normal CTR.)

Today with seven hours left, I now got 270% of the clicks of a normal day, with normal earnings.

I E-Mailed Google after the first click-bomb, and they basically said 'Thank You for your imput, we will continue to watch you.'

Ugggg, is it good to be watched by Google?!

I am getting crushed by an angry competitor. He even forwarded me an e-mail he's sent out encouraging people to do the same. I contacted Google, the reversed some clicks, but the guy hasn't let up. Should I let Google know each time or would they be keeping an eye on my account?
And any suggestions if I should get google involved since the guy has admitted to it in words and e-mail?

Try telling that guy that you are considering to take legal action against him and that you have more than enough proof (his e-mails). Probably he'll be frightened and he'll stop.

I would tell Google and threaten legal action. We should not put up with unscrupulous tactics by sleazeballs masquerading as businessmen.

Jesse_Smith,
when this happens I would suggest you to remove AdSense from your site and inform Google.
I think that if you do so they will watch at you as a "good boy", not as a "bad one".

- remove the ads from your site.

- put up look a like adsense script that you make & have it linked to a script that logs IP's of the clickers and then forwards them to something that wouldn't arouse suspicion ( ie Amazon or something )

- then after it all is over and they seem to have stopped place the IP's on your blocklist.

- also put a long term cookie on their computers so you can track them better.

- get a dns black hole list set up to block some proxies.
