Channel Data not accurate, why?

Channel are very useful tools, as many have told me. With the current new URL Channel, I find that there are several weird problems with the data.

I put 3 adsense blocks on my webpages, under one URL. All with different channels. But the sum of all those 3 channels (whether impressions or clicks) don't sum up to the data of the URL channel.

For example:
Channel 1 - 1000 impressions 10 clicks
Channel 2 - 1000 impressions 20 clicks
Channel 3 - 1000 impressions 30 clicks
Channel URL - 3500 impressions 50 clicks.
(the ideal data should be 3000 impressions, 60 clicks)

The only problem I can think of is, that I made a mistake not adding a channel for a particular block. But I've checked it over and certain that I've added channels to all blocks.

Does anybody have the same problem?

I think the reason is because some pages have duplicated information. For example, if you have the same ads on 2 different pages, both pages will share the same info. This happened to me as well, I added up all the channel pages, and the impressions were way greator than what I had for "aggregate" data.

Remember too that channel data is 2 days delayed. So your totals for "this month" would always show more for aggregate than for channels.

You have to make sure you are comparing the same dates.

I'm certain there are no duplicated information on two pages.

hunterdown: Thanks for the reminder. I'm aware of the 2 days delay on the channel data updates. Yes, I checked them on a few different dates (instead of past 2 days).

Under one URL channel, all 3 channels *should* sum up correctly. Doesn't anybody else have the same problem?

I fear that, if all these data turn out weird. Wouldn't our recorded clicks be misleading as well?

When I asked about this a few weeks ago someone suggested to set up channels under www.mysite.com and channels under mysite.com (no www). I haven't tried it yet but it could explain things.

I'm on a subdomain, i.e. subdomain.domain.com

Hmmm...Not sure what might create that.

it certainl would help to show you my datas, but that would be against the TOS.

I'm surprised though, why am I the only one having trouble with mysterious data? I was wondering if google was being dishonest with us. But it appears I'm the only one.
