Has anyone figured out if having adsense on your site effects your search engine ranking?

I know google say adwords has no effect on your search engine ranking.

Google says: no.

I have no reason to think that it does.

This came up already earlier today. My answer hasn't changed since then :-)

From a business point of view, if you had 10 sites on the first page, each with Adsense banners, then the search engine could make more money, of content targetted ads when traffic is driven there.

Where as, if none of the sites had adsense, then there would be no associated content revenue.

Similarly depending on the ranking algorithm, if sites with competing banner technology/content were ranked lower, in the natural SERPS, it would inevitable maximise revenue.

Google is under very strict scrutiny from a worldwide community of professional webmasters and advertisers, If they would follow one of your schemes, it would have been noticed by now.
