Hello,

On our site google can find enough ads, but they are not always related to the content.

What are the best tips to let google show related ads?

Thanks in advance.

Increase the page's keyword density, especially in the page's title, h1 tag, and links. If you can change the page's name to include the keyword(s), that's even better.

I once had a page that so confused Google that Google wouldn't even try to show garbage ads; it just showed PSAs. I added links, I added an h1 tag, I added text... Nothing. Then I changed the page's file name from bluewidgets.htm to blue-widgets.htm. (Google "sees" the hyphen as a space, you see.) The mediabot said, "Oh, you mean the page is about /widgets/?" and served spot-on ads. So you see, just a tiny adjustment can make a huge difference.

I've said it before, but sometimes the problem is not so much the (absence of) words related to your topic, but the presence of words related to other topics.

Check your text for words that may inadvertently be attrackting the wrong ads. Remove those, or replace them with synonyms. Assuming these are not your SEO targets, of course.
