Stats for yesterday suddenly changed

I realise that the AdSense stats aren't realtime (I believe the general consensus is that, when they're working, the time lag is approx. 1 hour). However, I thought it strange today when the stats for yesterday (Monday) suddenly increased when there were already clicks for Tuesday.

I thought that since they were already recording today's clicks yesterday's stats would be closed, but no, the next time I looked I had more clicks and $ :)

I saw this happen once before. It's possible that it happens more often, but I've only noticed it once before.

I've seen this happen a couple of times before. Seems their stats are less and less "realtime" each week. Of course, they probably didn't anticipate how many publishers would be logging in multiple times per hour, as some people do!
