adsense for search questions

A couple of questions:

1.) I am a little confused. If I place the adsense for search box on my site and someone searches for 'Widget' do I get paid for adwords clicks on the subsequent search pages including the following match pages: Page 1> Page 2> Page 3> etc...

2.) Do I have to send the user to the search box or can I pre-populate the search box from a link somewhere on my site?

1) You get paid as long as they click on an adwords ad on the search results pages (doesn't matter the page number)

2) If you read the terms of service for the adsense for search, I think it says something about using the search box as is.

I think it's against the rules to pre-populate the searchbox with your own terms (although you could email google or double check the TOS to make sure).
