Content ROI improving for AdSense advertisers?

Maybe Google's plan is working?

We are one of the AdSense publishers that has taken a big hit (decline) in our EPC since the start of 2005, so don't think this is a "I'm OK, you figure it out for yourself" type post.

But this is the first post of it's kind that I have seen on the sister AdWords forum:

[webmasterworld.com...]

Summarized: Content Ads are giving this advertiser better results than Search Ads (Google SERPs AdSense ads).

The thread is new, but it will be interesting to see what the other AdWords advertisers have to say. Most threads I've seen on the forum were along the lines of turning *off* AdSense Content ads to improve ROI.

Perhaps Google does know what it it is doing, and in the long run as previously alienated AdWords advertisers come back into the fold, all of us will see a return of our old favorable EPC levels?

Time will tell.

Thanks for pointing that out. Let's hope it continues.
