I applied to adsense and got rejected as my "site didn't meet the program criteria".
I've read the terms and conditions etc and think my site is pretty much OK - although I've got a few textual affiliate links - is that whats causing the problem? i'm happy to
and if i cannot get into that program - whats the next best alternative to adsense?

[edit reason] No site reviews please, per TOS. [/edit]
It's recently been fully indexed with 110 pages (growing by at least 10-30 per week) and has aat aleast 13 PR5 pages.
I've now put it under one of my existing adSense aco****s and it increased my adSense income by over $10 on th efirst day already.
But the new site belongs to somebody else and I need split accounting. It's obviously an effective, on target site well suited for adsense. But I keep getting rejections...

Probably the first step would be to contact Google again and see if they will shed light on the reason. It probably won't do any good, as they might only respond with a 'form' mail, but you never know. I was in the same situation and the mail I got back from Google, if I were to read between the lines, told me the direction I should take.
Killroy > are you saying that even though your site has been rejected 8 times, you still put the code on there from another account?
Good luck,

I just decided to focus on other sites for the time being and slowly address the issues that I think are causing the problems on the rejected site. I'd actually spent a week or so redoing the site getting it ready for Adsense submission, only for it to get rejected when I finally applied. I'd have been better off using that time doing what I normally do, and just accepting if the site was rejected and moving on. I learnt a good lesson there. As it's turned out, my other revenue streams have actually improved as a result of being rejected by Adsense, as I'm putting more thought into which ones I use and how I promote them.
