Hi,

I and my brother have separte websites. He is already using Google Adsense. We live at same place (i.e. have same postal address). Can I have a separte Google adsense account for my separate website.

1) Will it amount to violation of Terms of Service / Agreement of Google adsense?

2) Should i share his account?

3) Should I change my residential address?
[that is possible, but even in that case my surname will match my brothers surname. ;-) ]

Regards,
Sunando

best thing to do would be to ask Google for the answer for your specific situation.

Thanks rodney

I would really appreciate if anyone of you can share your wise wisdom if experienced the same situation or something like this before and how you resolved the issue.

Thanks again

Yes it would be best to ask Google officially, but my husband and I both have different company sites /accounts and have our checks sent to the same address. We used our individual SS#'s for each account. There has not been a challenge ( and I don't know why there would be since there are two seperate business located in the same building :)

It is always good to check though....

Specific answers:

1/ No-I had an account so did my brother
2/ I wouldn't-you trust your brother but will he split the money with you-how do you decide who earned what
3/ If you can do that then I would.

Reason behind point three. I got kicked out of adsense for invlaid clicks. My brother-different website, different niche, hardly any earnings, got kicked out also for the reason-"related account". NO suggestion he had any invalid clicks on his account just summarily kicked out

I have two corporations, each with its own website, each with its own Adsense account. Both share the same address.

I fully expect that if one account ever had a click fraud issue that both accounts would be canceled, but who knows.
