I'm a real novice to the adsense side of things, but have been very successful using adwords and other ppc engines. My question doesn't seem to be covered in the faq, though it may be a dumb one. If I'm promoting one of my sites via adwords and I add adsense to a different site, is there a way to prevent my own ads showing up in the adsense results?
I saw in the faqs that you can block competitor's ads from showing the results so it seems like the same mechanism should work, but I thought I'd ask.

ad settings --> url filter --> add/edit sites
