We have a site which is showing public server ads on the www.site.com version but the correct ads on the site.com version - all of our other sites work just fine including sites on the same host.
Any ideas on how to fix this glitch?

Ahh.. you have two sites with duplicate content as far as URLs are concerned... example.com and www.example.com are two different domains, regardless of whether they resolve to the same server or 'site'.
This recent thread [webmasterworld.com] describes a similar problem with an identical solution, and best practices to avoid these problems in the future.
