Suppose the public gets angry with adsense ads?

(I'm not suggesting this of course)

I'm starting a new thread to avoid hijacking an existing one.

Suppose somebody Googles for "dead pets", "artifical limbs" or the like.
Then come the adsense ads on the right, in really poor taste.
The offended party goes to some blog and really complains.
Further suppose the blog has a large following, and a few members that know something about adsense.

ONE member suggests a revenge, and the others follow along:
They all click like mad on the offending ads, all day long.
Then they find similar ads and bomb those too.

What would be the results of this? Has it happened already? - Larry

It's been done and Adsense has survived :)

All that "clicking like mad" was indeed mad as Google likely discounted clicks from that each IP after the first one or two.

At least one member here has been attacked (by a competitor?) in that way. They notified Google of the unusual stats and it all blew over.

Nah, I wouldn't be concerned.
